This is a small picture frame I had designed myself. The pieces are joined together with a mitred bridle joint, which is an incredibly strong joint and also very attractive. The detail on the inside is part of the side and was created using planes and other hand tools. I used mahogany for the frame. All made by hand. Finished with shellac and wax polish.
